1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and standards for using the AgentBuy platform ("Service"), including the client admin portal, MCP API, and marketplace. It is designed to ensure safe, fair, and responsible usage.

2. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Upload, sell, or distribute illegal, infringing, or harmful content
  • Harass, threaten, or exploit others
  • Create misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent listings or transactions
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
  • Circumvent license restrictions or deliver unlicensed assets to third parties

3. Abuse of System Resources

You may not:

  • Attempt to bypass usage limits, rate limits, or plan restrictions
  • Scrape or bulk-harvest the marketplace outside authorised MCP or API access
  • Share or expose API credentials (e.g. CONTENT_WORKER_SECRET) publicly
  • Generate excessive or unreasonable load on the MCP server or databases
  • Automate requests in a way that disrupts service performance for other users

4. MCP & Agent-Specific Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Use the MCP API without valid authorisation
  • Attempt to access unwatermarked or full-resolution assets without a valid license grant
  • Manipulate search, billing, or payment flows to avoid fees
  • Use the platform in a way that creates disproportionate cost relative to your subscription or usage tier

5. Seller Responsibilities

If you upload assets for sale, you must:

  • Own or have the rights to license the content you list
  • Accurately describe license tiers and permitted uses
  • Not upload malware, illegal material, or content that violates third-party rights

6. Rate Limits & Enforcement

We enforce:

  • API and MCP request rate limits
  • Search and token usage limits
  • Storage and subscription entitlements

Violations may result in:

  • Temporary throttling
  • Feature restrictions
  • Account suspension or termination
  • Revocation of API access

7. Monitoring & Enforcement

We reserve the right to monitor usage to ensure compliance.

We may take action without notice if we believe your usage:

  • Threatens system stability or security
  • Violates this policy or applicable law
  • Causes financial or operational harm

8. Reporting Violations

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
